Hello, Selina,

Greeting from Jessy.

Hope I am not being rude, are you the famous Chimayo weaver Selina Serrano?

I recently came across your weaving work with the insignia "S" posted on others websites. The pattern you designed for the men's vests are really amazing and charming.

In general, do you ususally work with primary colors for those weaving work? (For most I saw are white, grey, black, red and blue) However in this blog, works are quite colorful.

Does those pattern you design on the vest embody some meanings?

Sincerily,

Jessy

Hello Jessy,

Thank you so much for your comment. Sorry it took so long to respond. I do weave vest materials for Ortega's in Chimayo. I put my "S" in the middle design, they do like the traditional colors for their shop. I, on the other hand like to mix it up. My Grandma Agueda Martinez is the famous weaver.
